The new Altra Torin 9 represents a significant evolution within one of the brand's most popular sagas. This new version maintains the essence of the Torin as a daily training shoe with a 0 mm drop, but incorporates notable improvements in cushioning, stability and grip to offer an even more comfortable and efficient experience.

The big news is in the midsole, which debuts the innovative P35X™ dual-density foam. This new technology combines a firmer structure on the outside with a softer composition on the inside, providing a stable, cushioned and very comfortable ride during training of any distance.

The sole also takes a step forward thanks to the new Vibram® XS Run AW compound, which offers approximately 20% more grip compared to the Torin 8, improving safety and performance on asphalt and urban surfaces.

To complete this renovation, the Torin 9 incorporates a new generation molded heel that improves stability and support, a redesigned tongue with more padding for increased comfort, and a more breathable and adaptable technical mesh upper that favors a natural and pleasant fit from the first moment.

As usual in the Torin family, the Standard FootShape™ Fit philosophy is maintained, which allows a natural position of the toes and favors more efficient and comfortable biomechanics throughout the race.
