The Altra Mont Blanc Carbon are high-performance trail running shoes designed for runners seeking maximum speed, propulsion, stability and protection during mountain races and Ultra Trail events.
They feature a full-length Carbitex™ Monoflex carbon fiber plate, designed to provide greater propulsion, underfoot protection and stability on technical terrain. Thanks to this technology, the Mont Blanc Carbon are built to help you run faster and tackle even the most demanding mountain routes.
The Carbitex™ Monoflex carbon fiber plate runs the full length of the shoe, providing an increased sense of propulsion and stability while running, as well as protection against technical terrain.
The midsole combines two compounds to provide a balance of comfort, cushioning and performance. The outer edge features Altra EGO™ MAX, while the central section uses Altra EGO™ PRO, providing a more dynamic, performance-oriented response.
The outsole combines Vibram® Litebase technology, which reduces outsole weight, with Vibram® Megagrip, providing excellent traction on both dry and wet surfaces.
The Mont Blanc Carbon feature a spacious FootShape™ Standard toe box, allowing your toes to move freely, together with an ultra-secure midfoot fit.
The 0 mm drop encourages a natural stride and maintains one of Altra's distinctive characteristics.
With high cushioning, a 29 mm sole thickness and a weight of just 309 g, the Mont Blanc Carbon are a high-performance option for trail and Ultra Trail races where speed and efficiency are priorities.
